Project Synopsis:  Victory Acres Park/Esquer Park is a new multi-use BMX/Skate Park, encompassing somewhat more than three acres of un-vacant land, positioned in the historical neighborhood of Victory Acres.  The City of Tempe named the park after one of Victory Acres largest families, now numbering in the hundreds, the Esquer’s.  Esquer Park is going to be one of Tempe’s smaller parks however, there is still plenty of recreational equipment for the entire family to enjoy. 

The main attraction of this beautiful park is the BMX/Skate Park.  With input from the neighborhood, the City of Tempe, J2 Engineering and Environmental Design, and Site Design Group, teamed together to design this 5,500 square foot structure for the whole community to take pleasure in. 

In order to keep the entire community involved, there will be playgrounds for the kids, plenty of shade structures and barbeques for family picnics, a splash pad for those HOT summer months, NHPA horseshoe pits, a basketball court, a large multi-use grassy field encircled by a walking/jogging path, concrete gaming tables for checkers and chess, and even a concrete ping-pong table.  An entire lighting system is to be installed so that even the most avid gamer can play until the waning hours of sunset.
